Serenity Roller Shade Warranty

CACO, Inc. will extend a limited lifetime warranty on Serenity Roller Shade clutches not to exceed 25 years, 3 years on chain for roller shade operation, a limited lifetime warranty on interior use Texstyle fabrics not to exceed 25 years, a limited 10 year warranty on interior use Mermet Fabrics, a limited 5 year warranty on interior use vinyl fabrics and BASICS Automate motors provide a limited 3 year warranty, Rollease Acmeda Automate motors provide a limited 5 year warranty on battery motors and a limited 7 year warranty on direct wired motors. Each shade is warrantied to be free from defects in materials and workmanship to the original owner, provided that the shades were properly installed in a window, door or other interior area for which they intended, maintained and cleaned with the manufacturer recommendations.

Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, exposure to the elements, including but not limited to exposure to salty air, discoloration due to sunlight or passage of time, exposure to humidity, accidents, the use of steam, bleach, or any caustic abrasive, or solvent based cleaners, improper installation, alterations or normal wear and tear upon the shades are not covered by this warranty. Some fading or reduction in color intensity may occur and should not be deemed defective. Returns for the above-mentioned reasons are not warrantied.

The obligation of CACO’s manufactured products and its distributors is limited to repair or replacement of the shades or components found to be defective, at our option, provided the shades are returned to an authorized CACO dealer or distributor and accompanied by “proof of purchase CACO is not responsible for any shipping or labor costs associated for measuring, removing and re-installing blind from installed windows or fabricating alterations.

This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other obligations, liabilities, or warranties. In no event shall CACO be liable or responsible for incidental or consequential damages, or for any other direct or indirect damage, loss, cost, expense, or fee. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
